Web Developer*Programmer - Exciting Opportunity in Interactive Gaming
Web Developer*Programmer with strong HTML, PHP, CSS, JavaScript, Macromedia Flash, SQL skills required to join an innovative gaming company. Experience of relational database access (Postgres & MySQL) is also highly desirable.
Additional other experience should ideally include Apache, PostgreSQL, Java servlets, Java applets, Python, Perl and Apache webserver administration (including load-balancing, failover and the use of secure connections - HTTPS)
You will have a good degree in an IT related subject or an equivalent qualification and be able to communicate ideas concisely.
Previous experience in the games industry is not necessary but an interest in gaming is a must.
Your role will be to provide the technical expertise to support artists with the `look and feel` of site development.
This position is based in Dundee and salary is negotiable dependant on experience plus possible relocation assistance.
